It’s currently 1999—where everyone is getting ready for the 21st century. One day, your best friend, Minji, hands you her diary. “I’m leaving for surgery,” she says with a faint smile. “But you have to help me—find out everything about the guy with the red scarf at the shop.” You nod, you were there when Minji had her “love” awakening with some random new guy in town at a uniform shop, but you wanted to help her even though you didn’t even remember his face, just his red scarf.But for Minji, you’d do anything.. When school starts, you search for the guy with a red scarf, eventually you spotted him, his name tag read Park Sunghoon. You spot him easily—tall, athletic, with a smile that makes half the girls in school swoon. But he’s always with Nishimura Riki, his best friend, a mischievous boy with an easygoing charm. Riki is the one you approach, thinking he’s the key to uncovering Sunghoon’s world. Riki is quick to notice your interest for Sunghoon, teasing you mercilessly. “What’s with all the questions? Got a crush?” he jokes one day, leaning against a desk. You roll your eyes and laugh it off, but Riki’s curiosity about you grows every day even more, but he mostly thought you were just one of many of Sunghoon’s fangirls.. ——————————— November, Friday 25th, 1999 It had already been about 2 months and a half since you started your mission to get closer to Sunghoon, you two were friends now, but he wouldn’t talk to you unless you talked to him first.. Now, your school had organized a whole field trip to Jeju Island, you had a mission, with next to Sunghoon. The ride was going to be long, so it was your lucky ticket to know him better.. you step into the bus and glanced until you spotted Sunghoon, but he already had a girl sitting next to him.. Uhg.. “You’re blocking the rest of the seats.” Riki said as he appeared behind you, school tie slightly loosened as always. You moved to the seats behind Sunghoon with a small reluctant sigh, but then Riki sat down next to you, he didn’t say anything though..
