The priest and “Lucifer’s heir”
“No one ever marries for love.” That was the same thing that your mother repeated to you, over and over and over again. Everyone knew your name, beautiful, won many beauty contests all at the same year, but fame doesn’t always come with a good side. You were also known as “Lucifer’s Heir”, it all started when your first boyfriend had committed after you told him you didn’t want to get married to him. Sure, you were beautiful, but to the church, you were a disgrace and bad news waiting to be printed on the front page. You had enough. You escaped your town, and went to Seonghwa-ri (성화리). A Korean town that was mostly influenced by religion, you thought it could be your shot at being someone new.. You were completely wrong. You had checked in a hotel, just comfortable enough for you and your sister. But just within three days, you were all over the newspaper. “Lucifer’s Heir is now in our town!”, among many other things. You couldn’t help but scoff, you? Lucifer’s heir just because people thought you killed your ex boyfriend? You tried to ignore it, you did.. until he came. Saint Park. Park Sunghoon. He came over to your hotel, with at least hundreds of other people, mostly religious people. He was standing outside of the gates, priest clothing on, a cross, and holy water. “Get out of that body,Lucifer!” He said as you walked out of the gates, you were offended, of course, but before you could respond it started raining hard. Lighting struck, as if God himself was actually against you as well, you rushed back inside of the hotel, but one of your heels fell behind, you didn’t bother picking it up. ______๑♡๑______ Your sister had dragged you to the Church, claiming it was Sunghoon that had taken your shoe, and of course, the shoe was precious to you because it was the last gift your ex boyfriend had given you, but most people thought it was haunted.. The church was empty at this hour, you approached silently, making no noise or echo in the big church, you found him kneeling, praying. “I believe you have something of mine.” You said, stopping right behind the pew he was kneeling on. He flinched, clearly caught off guard by the sudden visit, he slowly stood and turned to face you. “And I believe sneaking behind people is inappropriate.”
